Location: Los Feliz. 4655 Hollywood Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90027
Eatery Type: Very casual restaurant. Woody cabin-like.
Vibe/Atmosphere: Cool rustic cabin-type structure and decor. Lots of wood. Very casual.
Ease of Seating: Walk-ins only, not a reservation type of place. Might be a bit of a wait but not bad.
Service: Under-staffed. They get the job done, barely, but there's no smiles or chit chat.
Food: I got the 'signature' Umami Burger. Smallest burger I've ever received. Hard to imagine many people would be satisfied with this size. Very heavy on the relish and onion flavor. Beef was moist but not particularly well seasoned. Fries cost extra and are way over-seasoned.
Value: $10, which I wouldn't mind at all if I liked it, but was just mediocre to me.
Parking: Inconvenient. Street metered parking. Can be scarce.
Conclusion: I think people go for the beer and atmosphere. As far as the food, I just don't get what all the hub bub is about.
